Marko Jara is a singer who was born on January 3, 1986 in Costa Rica. He was a contestant on a TV competition called "Cantando por un Sueño" ("Singing for a Dream"), in which celebrities were paired with non-celebrities to sing together before a panel of judges. Interestingly, he was listed as a non-celebrity -- paired with the TV host and journalist Laura Rodríguez -- even though he was once a member of a music group Calle 8 (unless that was a different Marko Jara).
