Gregorio Pernía was born on May 7, 1970 in Cucuta. He first appeared in the 1995 telenovela "Tiempos difíciles", but he made his mark with his award-winning performance as the gang member Federico Suarez in the 1998 novela "La Madre". He can currently be seen playing the drug dealer "Titi" in Telemundo's "Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso".
