wander grew up with a passion for photography, during his high school years, the fashion doors opened so he ventured into modeling starting with runway shows that leads to several projects, he signed up with an agency and become a professional model. but during college, he became absorbed with his studies that the fashion world takes the backseat in his life. after working as a civil engineer for years, he decided to go back to modeling, he worked as a full time model in brazil for a year, and then he went to san diego, it was there that wander found his passion again. wander aguiar, his photography. his life is NEXT. an exclusive look inside wander, happening only in the site of excitement. expressmen.

"i have friends who doesn't have enough money to pay good photographers so i helped them, and the agents who saw their portfolios were impressed with the photos, that was the time that i realized that photography is something that i am good at, and something that i really loved to do, when i moved to san diego, this passion was screaming inside of me so i decided to take up photo classes and soon i found myself doing what i love to do best"

"my inspiration comes from different sources, its all about opening your senses and letting the creative energy flow through you, life is always full of surprises, you just never know when the next inspiration will hit you, it can just be a simple scent, a color, thought or feelings. capturing these moments through photography is like blowing life in a solid statue, giving it movement, color and emotion"

"there are always some great moments, that’s one of the reasons that i love working with people, we always have fun, i think that's one of the rewards of this field, once we were shooting a model who is naked at the beach surrouded by cliffs, we didn’t realize that there were more than twenty people watching from the top of the cliffs, the model got so shy so we decided to shoot some fashion shots with clothes on but the audience wants to see more sexy shots and they started cheering and clapping"

"the market is very competitive but also is huge and very diverse so it doesn’t matter what kind of model/photographer you are, just follow your passion, improve your skills, experiment and you will succeed"

"as a former model i use my experience to help my models bring their best to the shoot, basically i make sure they are comfortable with the environment then everything becomes easy, soon we got the best shots that we want"
