my first impression when i first saw paul is that he is a tall handsome guy who at the same time is also very gorgeous. while still star strucked, paul gave me his boyish smile and that's when i realized that he doesn't see himself as a celebrity but as an artist who is just out there doing his thing, sharing his passion in acting with everyone and just excelling in what he loves to do best.

paul is originally from sacramento who went to stockton for college taking up a course that focuses more on theater history and technical theater. from delta college, he went to university of california for b.a. in drama. during his usc stint he participated in a new york satellite program where part of the curriculum includes auditions and trainings in new york that prepared him for a career in acting and the arts.


he appeared in his college production of jesus christ superstar, done edward the second in l.a. theater, and he also did l.a. forensic and true story of che guevarra at the same time he shot feature and hit films like razor, unraveled, cold heart canyon and the latest film which he co-wrote, co-produced and starred which is bound for release this february, sauce. not to mention a hosts of other tv stints, films and theater productions that he had done. definitely paul has a solid background and training in acting and he is now conquering the big screen. join us for an exclusive in depth interview as we take a journey inside the heart and life of paul howard.

"i'm a cliche when it comes to dreaming of being an actor, for as long as i can remember i was one of those rare kids who at junior high already knows what they want to be. i knew where i was headed at that time, the decisions that i made from going into college and majoring in drama and doing theater plus attending all those auditions and training are all geared towards that goal, in the real world i played my part, i took all the steps all the way through"

"acting is my first passion, artistically and personally speaking, i derive much satisfaction and enjoyment from it, however for me the various aspect of the entertainment industry from acting, singing, dancing, modeling, writing, producing are actually part of one large thing, they are not separate entities. so even if my first love is acting, the other aspects of the business from modelling to writing are all very close seconds"

"my inspiration is diverse, my mother is a huge part of it, she gave me the foundation and belief system that i have today, she taught me that everybody is equal regardless of all differences, she also said that anything in life that can be conceived can always be achieved. she is my foundation, her examples of respect, appreciation and love are her gift to me that will always be alive in my heart, because she scribbled it down to my soul"

"the recipe for succeeding in acting is to take one big cup of hard work and training, add a cup of determination and faith, stir some persistence, who you know, and a thick skin, then add just a dash of luck, and wait. this is where it gets tricky, sometimes you wait quite awhile, and sometimes you don't wait long at all. but with all these ingredients in place, have no doubt, you WILL eventually succeed!"

"every audition is kind of an "oops" (out of place situation) for me, its very rare when the environment is condusive to giving your best performance. many times you don't get your sides until minutes before. lots of time you have only limited information on the plot, script and characters. plus not to metion it is a room filled with strangers that all wants to prove themselves. so i'd say almost everyday i'm in one of those situations!"
